Talkatoo is a unique little button recorder designed for kids and parents for portable voice recording. Talkatoo is also great for kids who are forgetful and who might just want to hear your voice throughout the day. Kids are likely to forget what you told them or wrote down for them to remember. Why not have a back-up? You can still write them a little love note but they can also have a little reminder around their neck or attached to their backpack.

The Talkatoo is a simple digital memo recorder that appeals to kids. My kids were fighting over the one we received to review! It has 30 seconds of recording time which is more than adequate for an important message or a simple “I love you,” and it has unlimited re-recording for an entire year’s worth of daily affirmations. I love to be quirky and sing a song or act funny for them. Hopefully I will have brightened up their day! The possibilities are endless with this fun little gadget.

Kids will love having their own mini voice recorder and if you allow, they can record their own little messages and re-play them.There is a lock-out switch can be set to prevent your child from accidentally recording over your urgent memo, and the entire gadget is smaller than a Half Dollar (You remember those). Choosing to be hung around the neck with the included safety-release lanyard, or simply clipped onto a lunchbox or a backpack, the Talkatoo is a novel way to communicate the simple things to children ages 3 and up.

It comes in six designs (I reviewed the Green Monster) and you can choose between a necklace or clip attachment. What a great stocking stuffer idea!
