What an amazing night we had  at the world premier of Real Steel held at the Gibson Amphitheater in Universal.  This is such a great family movie and it pulls and tugs at your heart as you watch the story unfold. Will Charlie finally make right with his son Max? Will the "underdog" robot win?

This movie is being slammed by critics as a movie that is "seamless" and "plotless"  but as a Mom I  saw it  in a different light. I had to give it a different review; a different perspective from the critics who were shredding it to pieces. As I watched the movie, I was viewing it as a "mom"  ( one that told my then 5 year old that because Spider-Man was rated PG-13, he would have to wait until he was at least 11)

Would my kids fall asleep or tell me they were bored watching it? No

Would they tell me they needed to go to the restroom? Nope!

I thought that the story was cute and the action was packed just right. Nothing gory or something that your child would lose sleep over due to nightmares.

This movie had some bad language ( and I heard it because I was listening for it)  but in all honesty I think is appropriate for ages 6 and up.  I think that this is not a date night leave the kids with a babysitter type of movie but it does warrant being watched ( take the kids- they will love it)

Synopsis
A gritty, white-knuckle, action ride set in the near-future where the sport of boxing has gone high-tech, Real Steel stars Hugh Jackman as Charlie Kenton, a washed-up fighter who lost his chance at a title when 2000-pound, 8-foot-tall steel robots took over the ring. Now nothing but a small-time promoter, Charlie earns just enough money piecing together low-end bots from scrap metal to get from one underground boxing venue to the next. When Charlie hits rock bottom, he reluctantly teams up with his estranged son Max (Dakota Goyo) to build and train a championship contender. As the stakes in the brutal, no-holds-barred arena are raised, Charlie and Max, against all odds, get one last shot at a comeback.

I had the chance to review Cream Perfume Company lotion and cream perfume. The Sandalwood lotion has a delightful long lasting, light fragrance and I loved the spa like feeling when applying it.  The lotion is fast absorbing and it’s light and creamy texture feels marvelous on your skin.  This seriously one of the best lotion I have ever tried.

I love the tropical feel of the packaging. It makes me feel as though I am visiting a some distant tropical spa.  A nice feeling when you want to get away from it all.

The small jars of Cream perfume are just the right size to carry around with you when you are traveling, or just to put in your handbag as a little refresher.  I received two fragrances of the Cream Perfume.  The Ylang Ylang is my personal favorite.  I love the fresh floral scent of this perfume and love the different texture of the perfume.  This is not like your ordinary perfume spray.  This is a soft, luxuriant, cream that has the consistency of a chap-stick.  The fragrance does not easily fade, and will last quite a long time.

The other Cream Perfume I received was the Peach Baby Perfume. This one definitely smells like fragrant sun ripened peaches. I love this fruity summery fragrance.  It is quite different than the Ylang Ylang.  Of course,  I don't always like to wear the same fragrance so this is perfect.
